The YWCA is seeking applicants for the position of Racial Justice Intern, to provide assistance and support in furthering the YWCA's mission of "eliminating racism" through a broad range of racial justice programs.

We are seeking applicants who are passionate about our mission, have an interest in and basic understanding of racial justice work, and are detail-oriented, efficient, hard-working and dependable.

This position will report to the Racial Justice Program Coordinator, and will provide a college sophomore, junior, senior or master's student with valuable exposure to our racial justice programs and partners.

The internship will run for the duration of the fall 2016 semester, with a minimum of 15 hours per week required (except for school breaks). It is an unpaid internship, but the YWCA will complete paperwork and supervision requirements needed by the academic institution to award academic credit.

To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to Amanda Arbour, Racial Justice Program Coordinator, at AArbour@ywcahbg.org. Deadline to apply is August 24, 2016.
