Celebrate mothers, teachers, mentors and friends by guaranteeing a safe night of shelter to a local woman in need. Cards with Heart cost $5 each. All proceeds will support the women and children of the YWCA Emergency Shelter and its offering of counseling, employment services, court and hospital accompaniments, relocation and legal services.

This year's card features the painting "Full Circle" by Pamela J. Black and will be available soon.

About the Artist

The 2020 card showcases local artist Pamela Black original work "Full Circle." Pamela J. Black is an abstract painter who works primarily with fluid acrylics and watercolors. She received her BFA in painting from Kutztown University and holds her Masters in Education, which she obtained while teaching elementary art for five years. Black works from her in-home art studio during the day, while taking care of her two young children. You can find Black in her studio (#322) at The Millworks in midtown Harrisburg most nights and weekends.

"Full Circle" is part of Black's latest series of paintings to round out the year of 2019. Black titled the piece "Full Circle" to represent the year of growth, change, and development in her life and her work.
