On September 15th we continued this quarter’s focus on how non-partisan organizations can effectively engage in this election cycle by talking about Voter Engagement. What do people need to know for Election Day? Our goal was to equip attendees with practical tools and resources to do voter registration and voter education work in their communities.
We had the opportunity to hear perspectives from the State and County levels, as well as those doing grassroots work in our community. Thank you to each of our speakers for sharing their expertise:
- Marian Schneider, Deputy Secretary for Elections & Administration, PA Department of State
- Jerry Feaser, Jr., Director, Dauphin County Bureau of Elections & Voter Registration
- Tika Dhungana, Founding President, Bhutanese Community in Harrisburg
Thank you to Central Penn College for hosting us and providing breakfast! The Diversity Forum is presented by Community Partner Sponsors: Central Penn College, Temple University Harrisburg and Capital Region Water. Thank you to all of our sponsors!
