On February 16th the Diversity Forum kicked-off our new theme of Becoming Allies. With the increase in hate, bias and intolerance locally and nationally, this is a crucial time for allies to stand with marginalizing communities. But what is an ‘ally,’ and how do you become one?
Our speakers provided an introduction to this concept, so that we can all be educated, equipped and empowered to become allies:
- Tonya Lovelace, CEO, Women of Color Network, Inc.
- Anne Menard, CEO, National Resource Center on Domestic Violence
- Elizabeth Marx, Staff Attorney, PA Utility Law Project
Thank you to Widener Law Commonwealth for graciously hosting us – we appreciate your generosity!

We are also grateful to our supporting sponsors:
